The Tack Trunk

The Tack Trunk, located in historic Lebanon, Ohio is the area's most comprehensive English tack store with over 3,600 sq. ft. of products and options! From specialty gifts and sport clothing to children's books and alternative therapies, as well as saddles, bridles and training tools, we have anything and everything horse-related!

That's one of the reasons store owner, Mary Ann Chappelear started the retail business in 1987. After tiring of her search for certain items (specialized products, books, and horsey gifts) she opened her doors in downtown Lebanon offering these hard-to-find products. In 2007, the Vogel Family joined the business in order to bring in fresh ideas. Today, The Tack Trunk still prides itself in our wide selection, including the most innovative products on the market.

Twenty years later, in an expanded location on Route 42, the store continues to thrive, drawing customers from the Tri-State region and beyond. Our reputation for superior customer service and expertise in equine care and products has lasting appeal. We're staffed with experienced horse riders who can answer your questions and make reliable recommendations on products and area businesses.
